Optofluidic Polarization Beam Splitter
CLEO: 2015, 2015An efficient polarization beam splitter (PBS) based on a silica microcapillary is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. This PBS relies on the inherent-geometry-induced birefringence. A maximum extinction ratio of up to 25 dB is achieved.
