Multifaceted Lewis Acidity of a High‐Valent Cu(III) Hydroxide Complex
Novel reactivity of a Cu(III) trifluoromethyl hydroxide tetramer as a multifaceted Lewis acid is demonstrated. Treatment with strong Lewis bases leads to binuclear Cu(III) hydroxide bridged scaffolds, whereas capped cubanes are formed with solvents and halide anions.
