From Single Atoms to Nanoparticles: Pathways Toward Efficient and Durable Pt/TiO2 Photocatalysts
Platinum single atoms on TiO2 nanosheets evolve into clusters and nanoparticles under ethanol photoreforming and thermal treatments. By controlling deposition and post‐treatments, particle size and location on specific facets are modulated. The study reveals how stability pathways determine efficiency, guiding the design of more durable photocatalysts.

Fuel utilization during exercise after 7 days of bed rest [PDF]
Energy yield from carbohydrate, fat, and protein during physical activity is partially dependent on an individual's fitness level. Prolonged exposure to microgravity causes musculoskeletal and cardiovascular deconditioning; these adaptations may alter ...

3D‐Printed Porous Hydroxyapatite Formed via Enzymatic Mineralization
Bone combines lightness, strength, and the ability to heal, inspiring new materials design. This work introduces a room‐temperature, enzyme‐mediated 3D printing method to create porous hydroxyapatite scaffolds. The process avoids energy‐intensive sintering, preserves bioactivity, and allows control over porosity and mineralization.

Effects of Bed Rest on Conduction Velocity of the Triceps Surae Stretch Reflex and Postural Control [PDF]
Despite rigorous exercise and nutritional management during space missions, astronauts returning from microgravity exhibit neuromuscular deficits and a significant loss in muscle mass in the postural muscles of the lower leg.

We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,

Actuating and Sensing Composites of Liquid Crystal Elastomers and Poly(ionic liquid)s
Ionic conductive, mechanically tough, flexible, and stretchable filaments of a composite material comprising a liquid crystal elastomer and a poly(ionic liquid) are produced through 3D printing, which exhibit large actuation strain under stimulation and electrical resistance variation in response to deformation or environmental condition changes. Their
