Behavioral and Pharmacogenetics of Aggressive Behavior [PDF]
Serotonin (5-HT) has long been considered as a key transmitter in the neurocircuitry controlling aggression. Impaired regulation of each subtype of 5-HT receptor, 5-HT transporter, synthetic and metabolic enzymes has been linked particularly to impulsive aggression.

IC-Behavior: An interdisciplinary taxonomy of behaviors
Academic disciplines are often organized according to the behaviors they examine. While most research on a behavior tends to exist within one discipline, some behaviors are examined by multiple disciplines. Better understanding of behaviors and their relationships should enable knowledge transfer across disciplines and theories, thereby dramatically ...

Psychological Behaviorism and Behaviorizing Psychology [PDF]
Paradigmatic or psychological behaviorism (PB), in a four-decade history of development, has been shaped by its goal, the establishment of a behaviorism that can also serve as the approach in psychology (Watson's original goal). In the process, PB has become a new generation of behaviorism with abundant heuristic avenues for development in theory ...

BEHAVIORAL ECONOMICS AND BEHAVIORAL MOMENTUM [PDF]
Some relations between elasticity of demand and the conditions of reinforcement are reanalyzed in terms of resistance to change, in ways suggested by the metaphor of behavioral momentum; some relations between resistance to change and the conditions of reinforcement are reanalyzed in terms of elasticity of demand, in ways suggested by behavioral ...

On the structure of behaviors [PDF]
A behavior is a closed shift invariant subspace of the space of sequences with entries in a field k. We work out an explicit duality for k-modules. This duality is then used to derive properties of behaviors, and their high dimensional and noncommutative generalizations.

Genetic dissection of the neuro-glio-vascular machinery in the adult brain
The adult brain actively controls its metabolic homeostasis via the circulatory system at the blood brain barrier interface. The mechanisms underlying the functional coupling from neuron to vessel remain poorly understood.
