Analyzing Electronic Excitations and Exciton Binding Energies in Y6 Films
The Y6 molecule is used for increasing the efficiency of organic solar cells. The exciton binding energy is calculated for ensembles of Y6 molecules that are representative of the typically used films. The calculations show that the excitons typically spread out over many molecules.

Edible electronics needs integrated logic circuits for computation and control. This work presents a potentially edible printed chitosan‐gated transistor with a design optimized for integration in circuits. Its implementation in integrated logic gates and circuits operating at low voltage (0.7 V) is demonstrated, as well as the compatibility with an ...

Public Investment as Commitment [PDF]
Should public assets such as infrastructure, education, and the environment earn the same return as private investments? We consider if time-inconsistent decision-makers can gain from institutions that enforce cost-benefit rules on large projects that ...

Electroactive Metal–Organic Frameworks for Electrocatalysis
Electrocatalysis is crucial in sustainable energy conversion as it enables efficient chemical transformations. The review discusses how metal–organic frameworks can revolutionize this field by offering tailorable structures and active site tunability, enabling efficient and selective electrocatalytic processes.

A previously unreported coordination motif stabilising single Fe atoms by indigo chelation and pyridyl coordination on Au(111) has been revealed. By using planar tritopic pyridyl linkers (TPyB), extended 2D porous networks of indigo3(TPyB)2Fe6 form. These networks can be crystalline or vitreous and offer an environment where individual coordination ...

Behavioral Biases and Nudges in Auditing
This doctoral work studies the impact of cognitive biases and remote audits on professional skepticism, a marker of audit quality, and proposes novel tools to remedy these biases. The first chapter seeks to identify the impact of the framing bias and the optimism bias on professional skepticism.
