Exploring the Volatility, Phase Transitions, and Solubility Properties of Five Halogenated Benzaldehydes [PDF]
Halogenated benzaldehydes possess unique chemical properties that render them valuable in pharmaceutical synthesis, pesticide formulation, and dye production. However, thorough thermodynamic data for these compounds remain scarce. This study aims to fill

Covalent organic frameworks-supported copper bismuth oxide nanoparticles as an efficient and green photocatalyst for benzyl alcohol oxidation [PDF]
This work presents a sustainable and eco-friendly method using covalent organic frameworks (COFs) under visible light to selectively photocatalyze the oxidation of aromatic alcohols into beneficial aromatic aldehyde compounds. Under mild conditions, this

Benzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone [PDF]
The title compound, C(8)H(9)N(3)S, contains two mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit. One mol-ecule is close to being planar (r.m.s. deviation from the mean plane = 0.06 Å for the non-H atoms), while the other exhibits a dihedral angle of 21.7 (1)° between the benzene ring and the mean plane of the thio-semicarbazone unit.

4-(Dimethylamino)benzaldehyde [PDF]
The title compound, C(9)H(11)NO, crystallizes with two independent but essentially identical mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit, which are linked via a C-H⋯π inter-action. In both mol-ecules, the aldehyde and dimethyl-amine groups are essentially coplanar with the attached benzene ring.

Excretory–secretory products (ESPs) are the main research targets for investigating the hosts and helminths interaction. Parasitic worms can migrate to parasitic sites and avoid the host immune response by secreting this product.

4-(Diphenylamino)benzaldehyde [PDF]
In the title compound, C(19)H(15)NO, the N atom adopts an approximately trigonal-planar geometry, lying 0.07 (1) Å from the plane defined by its three neighbouring C atoms. The two phenyl rings and the benzaldehyde group form dihedral angles of 53.0 (1)/47.2 (1) and 29.0 (1)°, respectively, with this central plane.

4-(Benzyloxy)benzaldehyde [PDF]
The title compound, C(14)H(12)O(2), has an essentially planar conformation with the two aromatic rings forming a dihedral angle of 5.23 (9)° and the aldehyde group lying in the plane of its aromatic group [maximum deviation = 0.204 (3) Å]. Weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O contacts are found to be shortest between the aldehyde O-atom acceptor and the H atoms ...
