Structure–Activity Correlations of Magnesium Oxide as Support for Ruthenium‐Catalyzed Ammonia Synthesis

Quantum mechanical and experimental work was combined to reveal the relations between the catalytic activity of ruthenium‐based ammonia synthesis and the surface structure of the MgO support. Three different routes to synthesize MgO with different content of (111) surfaces were identified.

Sustainable Synthesis of P‐Doped Carbon Nitride From Fertilizer Sources for Enhanced Photocatalysis

A new P‐doped carbon nitride was synthesized from the combination of thiourea and (NH4)2HPO4 by a straightforward and mild approach. The final material shows a fourfold higher specific surface area and excellent suppression of charge carrier recombination.
