Boronic acid‐substituted thymine derivatives are well established and exhibit a range of biological activities. In contrast, the corresponding boronic acid esters and dioxazaborocane analogs remain largely unexplored. Herein, we report the synthesis and structural characterization of thymine derivatives bearing boronic acid, boronic acid ester, and ...

Simple inorganic bases emerge as potent photo‐reductants via halogen bonding without any exogenous organic additives. The formation of a discrete charge–transfer complex between aryl iodides and ubiquitous inorganic bases enables direct single‐electron transfer under mild LED irradiation, facilitating efficient access to aryl boronic esters, stannanes,

Sonochemical degradation of triclosan, benzophenone-1 and benzophenone -3 in Water
RESUMEN: Degradation of triclosan, benzophenone 1, and benzophenone 3 by multifrequency ultrasound was studied at high frequencies. Frequency effect on initial degradation rates was analyzed and an optimum frequency was found. Power density effect was also analyzed. A reaction mechanism was proposed and reaction kinetics were found.
