Abstract In the 2025 novel drug mini‐review, one can take a full measure of the ingenuity that underlies current drug design and development, despite the year's smaller harvest (46 novel drugs) compared to 2024 (53) and 2023 (70). 54% of the novel drugs are first‐in‐class (FIC).

Impact of Oral Sebetralstat on Anxiety Associated With Hereditary Angioedema Attacks

In the phase 3 KONFIDENT trial of oral sebetralstat for on‐demand treatment of hereditary angioedema attacks, many attacks induced moderate‐to‐extreme anxiety. Sebetralstat reduced anxiety versus placebo; time to reductions agreed with trial endpoints, such as time to beginning of symptom relief.

Bernstein–Jacobi-type operators preserving derivatives

AbstractA general frame for Bernstein-type operators that preserve derivatives is given. We introduce Bernstein-type operators based in the weighted classical Jacobi inner product on the interval [0, 1] that extend the well known Bernstein–Durrmeyer operator as well as some other types of Bernstein operators that appear in the literature.

In this thesis, we investigate the properties of Bernstein-Schoenberg Operator on general knot sequences and on the q-integers. Also we use this operator to give another proof to some theorems of Bernstein Operator. We give the transformation matrix between spline basis and Bernstein basis.

ABSTRACT Motivated by the substantial growth and upfront investments of venture capital (VC)‐backed firms observed in administrative US Census data, this study develops a life‐cycle firm dynamics model. In the model, startups choose the source of financing from VC, angel investors, or banks, depending on their growth potential, and invest in innovation.
