Strong Sandwich-Type Results for Fractional Integral of the Extended q-Analogue of Multiplier Transformation

open access: yesMathematics
In this research, we obtained several strong differential subordinations and strong differential superordinations, which gave sandwich-type results for the fractional integral of the extended q-analogue of multiplier transformation.

The unravelling of manufacturing best-practice strategies

open access: yes, 2008
Despite the emergence of the manufacturing strategy concept over thirty years ago (Skinner, 1969), there is still a recurrent trend in manufacturing management towards the adoption of best practices (Pilkington, 1998, 1999).

On fuzzy differential subordination [PDF]

open access: yesMathematica Moravica, 2015
The theory of differential subordination was introduced by S.S. Miller and P.T. Mocanu in [2], then developed in many papers. In [1] the authors investigate various subordination results for some subclasses of analytic functions in the unit disc.

Therapeutic Apheresis in Nigeria: A Multi‐Center Summary of Abstracts From the Inaugural Nigerian Society for Apheresis Scientific Meeting

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...

Fibrillar aggregations of pathogenic pro-vasopressin mutants [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Diabetes insipidus is a disregulation of water homeostasis characterized by large fluid turnover in the kidney. Water homeostasis is regulated by the hormone vasopressin by increasing reapsorption of water in the renal collecting duct. Autosomal dominant

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

An Experimental and Numerical Approach for the Best Enhanced Oil Recovery Strategy in Capillary-Dominant Reservoirs

open access: yes, 2022
Working with naturally fractured reservoirs (NFRs) can be challenging. Inadequate understanding of the enhanced oil recovery (EOR) driving forces in these reservoirs may result in serious conformance issues due to excessive water production. As a result,

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.
