beta-Endorphin 61-91 and other beta-endorphin-immunoreactive peptides in human semen.

The Journal of clinical endocrinology and metabolism, 1981
Human semen contains large amounts of authentic beta-endorphin and other beta-endorphin immunoreactive peptides. To eliminate the non-specific effects of semen in the beta-endorphin RIA, the beta-endorphin immunoreactive peptides were extracted with octadecylsilane-C18 reverse phase beads.

Human placental beta-endorphin.

Gynecologic and obstetric investigation, 1980
Human acid-acetone placental powder (PP) has corticotrophin-like and beta-endorphin(beta-EP)-like activity. In a beta-EP radioimmunoassay the PP showed a potency of 4.82 ng/mg protein. In Sephadex G-75 filtration and high pressure liquid chromatography, the beta-EP-like activity of PP was found in the corresponding chromatographic fractions as standard
