Mapping the subgingival HerBiome and HisBiome over the human healthspan
Abstract Background Understanding the intricate relationship between sex, age, and the oral microbiome is crucial for deciphering the onset and progression of numerous age‐related oral and systemic diseases. Methods Subgingival plaque was collected from 781 periodontally and systemically healthy females and 160 males spanning 0 to 80 years.

BEV-ODOM: Reducing Scale Drift in Monocular Visual Odometry with BEV Representation
Monocular visual odometry (MVO) is vital in autonomous navigation and robotics, providing a cost-effective and flexible motion tracking solution, but the inherent scale ambiguity in monocular setups often leads to cumulative errors over time. In this paper, we present BEV-ODOM, a novel MVO framework leveraging the Bird's Eye View (BEV) Representation ...

ABSTRACT The prognostic nutritional index (PNI) and geriatric nutritional risk index (GNRI) are simple markers that reflect immune and nutritional status. This retrospective study evaluated their prognostic significance in 276 patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who received first‐line lenvatinib. PNI and GNRI were calculated based on

BEV-LLM: Leveraging Multimodal BEV Maps for Scene Captioning in Autonomous Driving
Autonomous driving technology has the potential to transform transportation, but its wide adoption depends on the development of interpretable and transparent decision-making systems. Scene captioning, which generates natural language descriptions of the driving environment, plays a crucial role in enhancing transparency, safety, and human-AI ...

A freestanding film of completely uniaxially oriented amorphous lamellae was produced. The film exhibited enhanced tensile strength with increasing orientation of the lamella. Abstract An amorphous lamellar freestanding film composed of poly(N‐dodecyl acrylamide) (pDDA) was prepared by annealing a micrometer‐thick film under humid conditions (humid ...

Outracing a National Level Model Racing Car Champion: A Hybrid Model‐Based Data‐Driven Approach
ABSTRACT This paper discusses lap time optimization, focusing on a single lap without considering opponents in autonomous racing. The paper presents a control and optimization architecture composed of a model‐based low level controller and a higher level iterative learning algorithm with the goal of obtaining the fastest qualifying lap in autonomous ...
