Lithium extraction from salt‐lake brines using dicationic ionic liquids: ePC‐SAFT modeling and molecular mechanisms

open access: yesAIChE Journal, EarlyView.
Abstract This work proposes a novel strategy for enhancing Li+ extraction from salt‐lake brines with the high Mg2+/Li+ ratio using dicationic ionic liquid (DIL)‐based extractants. The ternary mixture of the DIL [DOMIM][Tf2N]2, tributyl phosphate (TBP), and dichloromethane (DCM) as a diluent achieved a higher single‐stage Li+ extraction efficiency (86 ...

Estimates for the Initial Coefficients of Bi-univalent Functions

open access: yes, 2012
A bi-univalent function is a univalent function defined on the unit disk with its inverse also univalent on the unit disk. Estimates for the initial coefficients are obtained for bi-univalent functions belonging to certain classes defined by subordination and relevant connections with earlier results are pointed out.

Showcasing the Structure and Properties of Lanthanide‐Doped BaTiO3

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
Understanding the defect chemistry of Ln‐doped BTO, as well as the distribution of Ln ions inside the BTO host, is a challenge in the study of functional perovskite oxides. It provides important insights into the future development of Ln‐doped BTO materials, particularly in the context of low‐carbon transition strategies and renewable technologies that

On the Fekete-Szegö problem for classes of bi-univalent functions [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Belgian Mathematical Society - Simon Stevin, 2014
In this paper we obtain the Fekete-Szego inequalities for the classes $\mathcal{H}_\sigma(\varphi)$, $\mathcal{ST}_\sigma(\alpha, \varphi)$ and $\mathcal{M}_\sigma(\alpha, \varphi)$ of bi-univalent functions defined in terms of subordination. These inequalities result in the bounds of the third coefficient which improve many known results concerning ...

Unveiling New Triazoloquinoxaline‐Based PROTACs Designed for the Selective Degradation of the ncBAF Chromatin Remodeling Subunit BRD9

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
We present new BRD9‐targeting degraders featuring a chemical warhead and E3 ligase ligand that distinctly differ from the typical chemical units used for BRD9 degradation. Specifically, we identified two VHL‐based PROTACs (2 and 9) based on a [1,2,4]triazolo[4,3‐a]quinoxaline scaffold that effectively and selectively degrade BRD9 and exhibit ...

Chloride Double Perovskites Doped With Sb3+/Er3+ as Stable and Effective Luminescence Material in the Vis‐NIR Region

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The luminescence properties of Sb3+/Er3+‐doped chloride double perovskites Cs2Ag0.4Na0.6InCl6 have been investigated across 250‐1600 nm. Structural and spectroscopic analyses have been performed using XRD, SEM, Raman, XPS, and ToF‐SIMS methods. Energy transfer from Sb3+ to Er3+ enables emission at 525, 552, 665, 805 and 1540 nm.

On some subclasses of m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions

open access: yesCommunications Faculty Of Science University of Ankara Series A1Mathematics and Statistics, 2018
In this work, we introduce two new subclasses S_{{\Sigma}_{m}}({\alpha},{\lambda}) and S_{{\Sigma}_{m}}(\b{eta},{\lambda}) of {\Sigma}_{m} consisting of analytic and m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions in the open unit disk U. Furthermore, for functions in each of the subclasses introduced in this paper, we obtain the coefficient bounds for |a_{m+1}

On a family of bi-univalent functions related to the Fibonacci numbers

open access: yesMathematica Moravica, 2022
In this study, we construct a new family of holomorphic biunivalent functions in the open unit disc by the help of q-analogue of Noor integral operator, principle of subordination and Fibonacci polynomials. Also we obtain coefficient bounds and Fekete Szegö inequality for functions belonging this family.
