Comparison of the Impedance Function of Biconical and Bowtie Dipoles
2007 Loughborough Antennas and Propagation Conference, 2007Impedance and admittance functions of simple bicone and bowtie dipole antennas are modelled using rational functions of low order. Results are presented in terms of the poles and residues of the function, which are studied as functions of the flare angle.

The complex antenna factor of broadband, wire-cage biconical dipoles
IEEE International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, 2003Previous studies on wire-cage biconical dipoles including "calculable" biconical dipoles have considered only the scalar antenna factor. The complex antenna factor (CAF) allows determination of both amplitude and phase information for the incident field and is necessary for the recovery of nonsinusoidal waveforms from measured data.

Theory of biconical and disk-conical dipole antennas
MMET Conference Proceedings. 1998 International Conference on Mathematical Methods in Electromagnetic Theory. MMET 98 (Cat. No.98EX114), 2002Biconical and disk-conical antennas take an important place in the general theory of wide-band antennas. However, in the literature only approximate methods of the solution of integro-differential equations of biconical antennas, which do not enable one to take into account the real geometry of antennas, have been developed. The paper is devoted to the

Indoor exposure at 2m from an antenna emitting in the (30–110) MHz band was provided to a group of seven human volunteers with the aim of analyzing a hypothetical occupational safety situation. Unperturbed field strength components maps over the incident area of the body and corresponding induced foot-current measurements showed that the field ...

Excitation of a slotted bicone by an impulse magnetic dipole
International Conference on Mathematical Methods in Electromagnetic Theory, 2003An analytical-numerical method for solving three-dimensional electrodynamics boundary problems with unclosed perfectly conducting bicone geometries is proposed. The method is based on using the Laplace transform, the Kontorovich- Lebedev transforms and the dual series regularization approach.

Gain and Antenna Factor Measurements of Broadband Biconical Dipole in the GTEM Cell
2010The paper presents the method for measuring antenna factor and gain of small antennas in the GTEM cell. In order to investigate the suitability of GTEM cell for this kind of measurement, the measurement results for a biconical dipole with broadband matching balun were compared with those obtained by calibration inside fully absorber lined anechoic site.
