Dynamic Analysis and Finite-Time Synchronization of a New Hyperchaotic System With Coexisting Attractors

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper generates an augmented hyperchaotic system from the famous Lorenz system. The hyperchaotic system has complex dynamic properties, including stability, periodicity, multiple coexisting attractors, period-doubling and Hopf bifurcations, and ...

Global bifurcation of solutions for a predator–prey model with prey‐taxis

open access: yes, 2015
We study pattern formations in a predator–prey model with prey‐taxis. It is proved that a branch of nonconstant solutions can bifurcate from the positive equilibrium only when the chemotactic is repulsive.

Single-cell data-driven mathematical model reveals possible molecular mechanisms of embryonic stem-cell differentiation

open access: yesMathematical Biosciences and Engineering, 2019
Embryonic development is widely studied due to its application in disease treatment. The published literature demonstrated that Krüppel-like factor 8(KLF8) plays an important role in modulating mesendoderm to definitive endoderm (DE) differentiation ...

Bifurcations of the Hénon map with additive bounded noise [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
We numerically study bifurcations of attractors of the H\'enon map with additive bounded noise with spherical reach. The bifurcations are analysed using a finite-dimensional boundary map. We distinguish between two types of bifurcations: topological bifurcations and boundary bifurcations.

Large bifurcation supports [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
In the study of global bifurcations of vector fields on $S^2$, it is important to distinguish a set "where the bifurcation actually occurs", -- the bifurcation support. Hopefully, it is sufficient to study the bifurcation in a neighborhood of the support only. The first definition of bifurcation support was proposed by V.Arnold.

A remark on bifurcation of Fredholm maps

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis, 2018
We modify an argument for multiparameter bifurcation of Fredholm maps by Fitzpatrick and Pejsachowicz to strengthen results on the topology of the bifurcation set.
