This paper presented the investigation of the influence of the temperature−dependent screening effect on the Seebeck phonon drag coefficient Sg of a monolayer of bilayer graphene (BLG) and a BLG−BLG double layer placed in an air environment. For a system in an air environment, the two-dimensional electrons of the BLG was assumed to interact only with ...

Lithium intercalation into bilayer graphene [PDF]
AbstractThe real capacity of graphene and the lithium-storage process in graphite are two currently perplexing problems in the field of lithium ion batteries. Here we demonstrate a three-dimensional bilayer graphene foam with few defects and a predominant Bernal stacking configuration, and systematically investigate its lithium-storage capacity ...

A Molecular Dynamics Study of the Mechanical Properties of Twisted Bilayer Graphene
Graphene is one of the most important nanomaterials. The twisted bilayer graphene shows superior electronic properties compared to graphene. Here, we demonstrate via molecular dynamics simulations that twisted bilayer graphene possesses outstanding ...

Phonons in twisted bilayer graphene [PDF]
We theoretically investigated phonon dispersion in AA-stacked, AB-stacked and twisted bilayer graphene with various rotation angles. The calculations were performed using the Born-von-Karman model for the intra-layer atomic interactions and the Lennard-Jones potential for the inter-layer interactions.

Fabrication of Li-intercalated bilayer graphene
We have succeeded in fabricating Li-intercalated bilayer graphene on silicon carbide. The low-energy electron diffraction from Li-deposited bilayer graphene shows a sharp 3×3R30° pattern in contrast to Li-deposited monolayer graphene. This indicates that
