Multiple Sampling Capsule Robot for Studying Gut Microbiome

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
A multiple sampling capsule robot (MSCR) is developed for longitudinal gut microbiome analysis. Employing electromagnetic field control, the MSCR can locomote actively, precisely align the selected channel, and collect up to six microbiome samples with minimal cross‐contamination.

Supramolecular Gels as Active Tools for Reaction Engineering

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
The unique combination of environments within gels, self‐assembled from low‐molecular‐weight gelators, offers the ability to control reactivity in new ways, achieving unique reaction outcomes, leading to the emerging concept of supramolecular gels as nanoreactors. Smart chemical engineering methods enable the use of such gels to fabricate materials and

An N-acyl glycyltaurine conjugate of deoxycholic acid in the biliary bile acids of the rabbit

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1998
The biliary bile acid composition of the adult and neonatal domestic rabbit, as well as that of the adult brush rabbit, was characterized. In adult domestic rabbits, the dominant bile acid present was deoxycholic acid (88“% of total bile acids), a ...

Bioinspired Design, Fabrication, and Wing Morphing of 3D‐Printed Magnetic Butterflies

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Inspired by the remarkable flight of monarch butterflies, lightweight, 3D‐printed magnetic butterflies are fabricated that mimic natural wing morphing without embedded electronics. By varying size, vein patterns, and laser energy in powder bed fusion printing, how these factors enhance deformation efficiency is shown.
