Gut microbiota–derived short‐chain fatty acids regulate group 3 innate lymphoid cells in HCC
Abstract Background and Aims Type 3 innate lymphoid cells (ILC3s) are essential for host defense against infection and tissue homeostasis. However, their role in the development of HCC has not been adequately confirmed. In this study, we investigated the immunomodulatory role of short‐chain fatty acids (SCFAs) derived from intestinal microbiota in ILC3

This review summarizes recent advances in the spatiotemporal dynamics of the tumor microenvironment (TME). It highlights the roles of diverse immune and stromal cell populations, spatial architecture of the TME, as well as the gut and tumor microbiota in influencing responses to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), by integrating insights from single ...

KAT7‐acetylated and cytoplasm‐translocated G‐protein GαS enhances IL‐6 effect and drives HCC progenitor cell progression. Abstract Background and Aims Hepatocarcinogenesis goes through HCC progenitor cells (HcPCs) to fully established HCC, and the mechanisms driving the development of HcPCs are still largely unknown.

PIEZO Force Sensing in Vascular Biology: An Explosion of New Knowledge, Concepts and Opportunity
Knowledge of the remarkable mechanical force sensing and electrically transducing PIEZO1 and PIEZO2 channels is discussed across vascular biology and its cell types from the embryonic to adult stages in health, disease and old age. How the channels work, relate to other factors and signal for tissue responses to mechanical forces is debated.
