Threshold Asymmetric Conditional Autoregressive Range (TACARR) Model
ABSTRACT This paper introduces a Threshold Asymmetric Conditional Autoregressive Range (TACARR) model for analyzing the daily price ranges of financial assets. The proposed formulation assumes that the conditional expected range switches between two regimes, representing upward and downward market states, with the disturbance distribution also allowed ...

Efficient Verifiable Dynamic Threshold Secret Sharing Scheme Based on Elliptic Curves
A dynamic threshold secret sharing (DTSS) scheme allows the secret to be updated without changing the shares. The first DTSS scheme was proposed by Laih et al. in 1991. Several other schemes based on different methods have been proposed since then.

Diffie-Hellman Problems and Bilinear Maps
We investigate relations among the discrete logarithm (DL) problem, the Diffie-Hellman (DH) problem and the bilinear Diffie-Hellman (BDH) problem when we have an efficient computable non-degenerate bilinear map $e:G\times G \rightarrow H$.

An elementary counterexample to the open mapping principle for bilinear maps
In [2], Rudin asked whether a continuous bilinear map from the product of two Banach spaces onto a Banach space must be open at the origin; i.e., whether under such a map the image of every neighborhood of zero must contain a neighborhood of zero ...

Changing Water Resources in the Indus Basin: A Multi‐Model Budyko‐Based Analysis
Budyko‐based analysis evaluates historical (1962–2005) and future hydroclimatic change across the Indus River Basin. Budyko shifts indicate rising atmospheric evaporative demand and increasing energy limitation under future scenarios. ABSTRACT Assessing hydroclimatic variability and future water availability is crucial for sustainable water‐resource ...

A Cr3+/La3+ codoped Sr3Zr2O7 NIR phosphor showing luminescence at ∼960 nm with high IQE/EQE (92.4%/57.5%) and good thermal stability was developed. La3+ stabilizes Cr3+ and induces Cr3+ pairs, enabling efficient blue‐to‐NIR conversion for underwater wireless optical communication.

Improving 3D Reconstruction Through RGB-D Sensor Noise Modeling
High-resolution RGB-D sensors are widely used in computer vision, manufacturing, and robotics. The depth maps from these sensors have inherently high measurement uncertainty that includes both systematic and non-systematic noise.
