Does Policy Matter in Carsharing Traveling? Evolution Game Model‐Based Carsharing and Private Car Study

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
As an alternative trip mode to the private car, carsharing mode first emerged in Europe in the 1940s. Although it possesses many merits such as convenience, affordability, and comfort, its development is far slower than the private car in recent years.

On the Dynamics and Stability of the Crime and Punishment Game

open access: yesComplexity, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
We study the dynamics and stability of the economics of crime and punishment game from an evolutionary perspective. Specifically, we model the interaction between agents and controllers as an asymmetric game exploring the dynamics of the classic static model using a replicator dynamics equation, given exogenous levels of monitoring and criminal ...

The WoLF‐MFGA Algorithm for Equilibrium Analyses of Multiuser Power Control in Wireless Network

open access: yesWireless Communications and Mobile Computing, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
The main goal of this paper is to explore strategic decision‐making of multiuser power control in wireless network from the perspective of mean field game theory. First, we formulate the multiuser power control problem as a n‐person noncooperative game and prove the existence of Nash equilibrium for multiuser power control game.

Stochastic Evolutionary Game Analysis on the Strategy Selection of Green Building Stakeholders from the Perspective of Supply‐Demand Subject Populations

open access: yesJournal of Sensors, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
In construction industry, the research and development (R&D) and application of green building technologies (GBTs) are crucial to promote the development of green buildings. From the perspective of supply‐demand subject populations, this paper discusses the dynamic evolution process of strategy between individuals within construction enterprise ...

Novel Algorithms for Solving a System of Absolute Value Variational Inequalities

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
The goal of this paper is to study a new system of a class of variational inequalities termed as absolute value variational inequalities. Absolute value variational inequalities present a rational, pragmatic, and novel framework for investigating a wide range of equilibrium problems that arise in a variety of disciplines.

Numerical Solution of the Absolute Value Equations Using Two Matrix Splitting Fixed Point Iteration Methods

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
The absolute value equations (AVEs) are significant nonlinear and non-differentiable problems that arise in the optimization community. In this article, we provide two new iteration methods for determining AVEs. These two approaches are based on the fixed point principle and splitting of the coefficient matrix with three extra parameters.

Extended Model on Structural Stability and Robustness to Bounded Rationality

open access: yesComplexity, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
In this article, we focus on an extended model M¯ of bounded rationality. Based on a rationality function with lower semicontinuity, we analyze the relationship between structural stability and robustness of Ω¯. To further demonstrate the applicability of our theory, we introduce a model Ω¯0 containing an abstract rationality function and generalize ...

On pure equilibria for bimatrix games [PDF]

open access: yesZOR - Methods and Models of Operations Research, 1993
Summary: \textit{L. S. Shapley} [Ann. Math. Stud. 52, 1-28 (1964; Zbl 0126.162)] gave several conditions for the existence of pure saddlepoints for a matrix game. We show that only a few of these conditions, when translated to the situation of a bimatrix game guarantee the existence of pure equilibria.

Solving Multiobjective Game in Multiconflict Situation Based on Adaptive Differential Evolution Algorithm with Simulated Annealing

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2021, Issue 1, 2021., 2021
In this paper, we study the multiobjective game in a multiconflict situation. First, the feasible strategy set and synthetic strategy space are constructed in the multiconflict situation. Meanwhile, the value of payoff function under multiobjective is determined, and an integrated multiobjective game model is established in a multiconflict situation ...

Evolution of parental roles in phase portraits of bimatrix asymmetric games

open access: yesFrontiers in Ecology and Evolution, 2023
In this paper, we address the evolutionary dynamic of parental roles using game theory. The main purpose of the article was to expand a classical list of evolutionary dynamic parental conflicts by adding some important cases which hitherto have not been ...
