Time delay in the Kuramoto model with bimodal frequency distribution [PDF]
We investigate the effects of a time-delayed all-to-all coupling scheme in a large population of oscillators with natural frequencies following a bimodal distribution.

Rheocasting versus Die Casting: An Insight into the Low‐Cycle Fatigue Behavior of AlSi7Mg0.6
The study compares rheocast lightweight components with high‐pressure die cast materials regarding microstructure and fatigue behavior. Rheocast process offers higher efficiency due to lower casting temperatures. Despite some microstructural differences, both processes show similar strengths (yield strength 125 MPa, tensile strength 240 MPa).

This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

The versatile precursor‐assisted soft sphere close packing during slot‐die coating is investigated with in situ X‐ray scattering. The soft crystallization pathways towards a close packing involve multistep structural transitions such as surface nucleation, in‐plane, and out‐of‐plane crystallization.

Chimera distribution amplitudes for the pion and the longitudinally polarized $\rho$-meson
Using QCD sum rules with nonlocal condensates, we show that the distribution amplitude of the longitudinally polarized $\rho$-meson may have a shorttailed platykurtic profile in close analogy to our recently proposed platykurtic distribution amplitude ...

Controlled laser‐drilling of embedded HfO2 membranes creates three layer nanopores with Gaussian‐shaped cavities sculptured in the supporting layers. These embedded solid‐state nanopores slow DNA translocation by 12‐fold compared to SiNx pores, enabling high‐resolution, label‐free detection of short DNAs, RNAs, and proteins.

Universality in Random Systems: the case of the 3-d Random Field Ising model
We study numerically the zero temperature Random Field Ising Model on cubic lattices of various linear sizes $ 6 \le L \le 90 $ in three dimensions with the purpose of verifying the validity of universality for disordered systems.
