MagmaFlow: A desktop platform for artificial intelligence‐driven expression analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
MagmaFlow is a free, no‐code platform for gene expression analysis. It generates interactive volcano plots, links genes to literature, pathways, and diseases, prioritizes candidates using millions of publications, identifies affected biological processes, builds network diagrams, and exports publication‐ready figures and reports for macOS and Windows ...

An Algebraic Method for Constructing Bases in Binary Linear Codes for Information Dispersal Algorithms

open access: yesMathematics
The algebraic analysis of linear code parameters reveals deep connections with cryptographic constructions, including the Information Dispersal Algorithms (IDAs) and secret-sharing schemes.

Vestibular Patient Journey: Insights From Vestibular Disorders Association (VeDA) Registry

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Vestibular symptoms impose a high burden of disability. Understanding real‐world diagnostic and treatment pathways can identify care gaps and guide interventions. We aimed to characterize symptom profiles, diagnostic trends, provider involvement, and treatment patterns in vestibular disorders.

Full-Diversity Space-Time Error Correcting Codes with Low-Complexity Receivers

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2011
We propose an explicit construction of full-diversity space-time block codes, under the constraint of an error correction capability. Furthermore, these codes are constructed in order to be suitable for a serial concatenation with an outer linear ...

Location‐Specific Hematoma Volume Predicts Early Neurological Deterioration in Supratentorial ICH

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Early neurological deterioration (END) adversely affects outcomes in patients with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). This study aimed to determine the location‐specific hematoma volumes for END in supratentorial ICH patients. Methods We retrospectively analyzed supratentorial ICH patients presenting from two prospective cohorts.

Linear binary codes with intersection properties

open access: yesDiscrete Applied Mathematics, 1984
Let p(n,d) (resp. q(n,d)) be the maximal dimension of a binary linear code of length n such that any two distinct nonzero codewords agree in at least (resp. at most) d nonzero positions. It is proved that \(q(n,d)=\min\{n,d+1\}.\) Some bounds for p(n,d) are established, and constructions of related codes are given as well.

Pure and Hydrocarbon Binary Mixtures as Possible Alternatives Working Fluids to the Usual Organic Rankine Cycles Biomass Conversion Systems

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
This study investigates the use of pure and hydrocarbons binary mixtures as potential alternatives working fluids in a usual biomass powered organic Rankine cycle (ORC).

Rough-surface effect on sputtering of Cr bombarded by low-energy He plasma

open access: yesNuclear Materials and Energy, 2021
The formation of microscopic cone-like structures on a Cr surface is observed under He plasma exposure at a low incident ion energy of ∼106 eV in the PISCES-A linear plasma device.

White Matter Hyperintensity Burden and Short‐Interval Change Associated With Sleep Apnoea in the UK Biobank

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Purpose White matter hyperintensities (WMH) are a core neuroimaging marker of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). Sleep apnoea (SA) is a recognized vascular risk factor, but its associations with regional WMH burden, short‐interval WMH change and cognitive performance in population‐based cohorts remain incompletely defined. On Binary Linear (16, 8) Code with the Maximum Minimum Distance [PDF]

open access: yes, 1986
It is known that the maximum value of minimum distances of binary linear (16, 8) codes is 5. This paper shows that the binary linear (16, 8) code with the minimum distance 5 is unique up to the permutation of bit positions.
