Pulsar magnetospheres in binary systems
The criterion for stability of a tangential discontinuity interface in a magnetized, perfectly conducting inviscid plasma is investigated by deriving the dispersion equation including the effects of both gravitational and centrifugal acceleration. The results are applied to neutron star magnetospheres in X-ray binaries. The Kelvin-Helmholtz instability

Supernova remnant S147 and its associated neutron star(s)
The supernova remnant S147 harbors the pulsar PSR J0538+2817 whose characteristic age is more than an order of magnitude greater than the kinematic age of the system (inferred from the angular offset of the pulsar from the geometric center of the ...

SXP 1062, a young Be X-ray binary pulsar with long spin period - implications for the neutron star birth spin [PDF]
Context. The Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC) is ideally suited to investigating the recent star formation history from X-ray source population studies. It harbours a large number of Be/X-ray binaries (Be stars with an accreting neutron star as companion ...

Genetic modification of Water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica), a genoprotective perennial leafy green
Abstract Improvement of leafy greens, especially perennials with year‐round harvesting, is binding to the food security drive. “Food for All” by WHO demands the improvement of regional crops due to the agroclimatic specificity to ensure regional food security.

Hidden slow pulsars in binaries
The recent discovery of the binary containing the slow pulsar PSR 1718-19 orbiting around a low-mass companion star adds new light on the characteristics of binary pulsars. The properties of the radio eclipses of PSR 1718-19 are the most striking observational characteristics of this system.

Pulsars and Close Binary Systems [PDF]
It is first considered what must happen if pulsars (i.e. neutron stars) are formed in close binary systems (CBS), and whether the resulting orbital motion and mass transfer should be observable. As this set of alternatives seems unlikely, there follow suggestions of how one might prevent the formation of neutron stars in close binaries.

High-cadence Timing of Binary Pulsars with CHIME
We performed near-daily observations of the binary pulsars PSR J0218+4232, PSR J1518+4904, and PSR J2023+2853 with the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME).

Multiwavelength observations of the transitional millisecond pulsar binary XSS J12270-4859 [PDF]
We present an analysis of X-ray, ultraviolet and optical/near-IR photometric data of the transitional millisecond pulsar binary XSS J12270−4859, obtained at different epochs after the transition to a rotation-powered radio pulsar state. The observations,

Dark Energy From the Gravitational Wave Background With Scalar Field Dark Matter
ABSTRACT Recent observational results, such as those from pulsar timing arrays (PTA), suggest a low‐frequency Gravitational Wave Background (GWB) permeates our universe. This opens the possibility that gravitational waves could span a broader spectrum, potentially impacting cosmological scales.
