Polynomial Triangles Revisited [PDF]
A polynomial triangle is an array whose inputs are the coefficients in integral powers of a polynomial. Although polynomial coefficients have appeared in several works, there is no systematic treatise on this topic. In this paper we plan to fill this gap.

Three new classes of binomial Fibonacci sums [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce three new classes of binomial sums involving Fibonacci (Lucas) numbers and weighted binomial coefficients. One particular result is linked to a problem proposal recently published in the journal The Fibonacci Quarterly.

Applications of Lehmer’s Infinite Series Involving Reciprocals of the Central Binomial Coefficients
The main objective of this paper is to establish several new closed-form evaluations of the generalized hypergeometric function Fq+1qz for q=2,3,4,5. This is achieved by means of separating the generalized hypergeometric function Fq+1qz (q=2,3,4,5) into ...

NEAT1 Promotes Epileptogenesis in Tuberous Sclerosis Complex
The primary neurological manifestations of tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) are intractable epilepsy and intellectual disability. NEAT1 is differentially expressed in TSC‐related epilepsy and influences neuronal excitability by regulating the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway.

Lucas' theorem: its generalizations, extensions and applications (1878--2014) [PDF]
In 1878 \'E. Lucas proved a remarkable result which provides a simple way to compute the binomial coefficient ${n\choose m}$ modulo a prime $p$ in terms of the binomial coefficients of the base-$p$ digits of $n$ and $m$: {\it If $p$ is a prime, $n=n_0 ...

Identifying Tipping Points during Healthy Brain Aging through Single‐Nucleus Transcriptomic Analysis
This study applies single‐nucleus transcriptomics and systems dynamics to uncover nonlinear aging patterns in healthy human brains. By introducing dynamic network biomarker theory, the authors identify a critical tipping point at ages 56–60 during aging, and highlight glial instability as a key mediator.

Repeated sums and binomial coefficients
Binomial coefficients have been used for centuries in a variety of fields and have accumulated numerous definitions. In this paper, we introduce a new way of defining binomial coefficients as repeated sums of ones. A multitude of binomial coefficient identities will be shown in order to prove this definition.

An integrative analysis combining in vitro genome‐wide immune screens, in vivo ICB screens, and clinical data mining identifies METTL5 as a key tumor‐intrinsic immune factor. Mechanistic studies further reveal the importance of the METTL5‐ATF4‐SLC7A11/SLC3A2‐ferroptosis axis in modulating antitumor immune responses. These findings highlight METTL5 as a
