Multi Agent/Object Simulation in Human Swimming
In human swimming, there are many situations in which the target of the analysis is not only the swimmer but also other swimmers or other equipment, such as synchronized swimming by multiple swimmers, swimming with fins, and so on.

Phase-response analysis of synchronization for periodic flows
We apply the phase-reduction analysis to examine synchronization properties of periodic fluid flows. The dynamics of unsteady flows are described in terms of the phase dynamics reducing the high-dimensional fluid flow to its single scalar phase variable.

Fluctuation assisted spreading of a fluid filled elastic blister
In this theoretical and numerical study, we show how spatially extended fluctuations can influence and dominate the dynamics of a fluid filled elastic blister as is deforms onto a pre-wetted solid substrate. To describe the blister dynamics, we develop a

Active colloids in complex fluids [PDF]
We review recent work on active colloids or swimmers, such as self-propelled microorganisms, phoretic colloidal particles, and artificial micro-robotic systems, moving in fluid-like environments. These environments can be water-like and Newtonian but can

Numerical Analysis of Bioconvection Generated by Chemotactic Bacteria
Numerical simulations were carried out modeling the bioconvection generated by chemotactic bacteria in a shallow chamber, and the influence of the Rayleigh number on bioconvection was examined.

Characterization of the vessel geometry, flow mechanics and wall shear stress in the great arteries of wildtype prenatal mouse. [PDF]
INTRODUCTION: Abnormal fluid mechanical environment in the pre-natal cardiovascular system is hypothesized to play a significant role in causing structural heart malformations.
