Advanced glycation end products promote the release of endothelial cell‐derived mitocytosis
Under diabetic conditions, AGEs induce mitochondrial damage in HUVECs, activating migrasome‐mediated mitocytosis. Migrasomes encapsulate damaged mitochondria and are released into the extracellular space, facilitating intercellular mitochondrial transfer.

Seed dispersal in six species of terrestrial orchids in Biebrza National Park (NE Poland)
Knowledge about seed dispersal is required to explain problems in ecology, phylogeography, and conservation biology. Even though seed dispersal is a fundamental mechanism to understand problems at different levels of biological organization (individual ...

Stem cell‐based embryo models (SCBEMs) are valuable to study early developmental milestones. Matrigel, a basement membrane matrix, is a critical substrate used in various SCBEM protocols, but its role in driving stem cell lineage commitment is not clearly defined.

Machine stability and dosimetry for ultra‐high dose rate FLASH radiotherapy human clinical protocol
Abstract Background The FLASH effect, induced by ultra‐high dose rate (UHDR) irradiations, offers the potential to spare normal tissue while effectively treating tumors. It is important to achieve precise and accurate dose delivery and to establish reliable detector systems, particularly for clinical trials needed to help the clinical transfer of FLASH‐

Kramers-Kronig analysis of biological skin [PDF]
A treatise on the optical property of biological tissue is presented. Water is postulated to be a topological basis and serves to discriminate published skin data. Electromagnetic theory governing dielectric behavior is concisely detailed pertaining to certain optical constants and Kramers-Kronig relation.

Membrane Heating in Living Tissues Exposed to Nonthermal Pulsed EM Fields [PDF]
A bio tissue model consisting of multilayer spherical cells including four nested radial domains (nucleus, nuclear membrane, cytoplasm and plasma membrane) is worked out to derive the cell heating dynamics in presence of membrane capacitance dispersion under pulsed electromagnetic exposure.
