Supramolecular Lubricating Hydrogel Microspheres Reshape Damaged Matrix Regeneration
The supramolecular lubricating hydrogel microspheres can provide stable mechanophysical protection at damaged matrix through interfacial hydration lubrication: in the early and middle stages, microspheres can actively provide microscale supramolecular lubrication (µ ≈ 0.04) for damaged matrix; in the late stage, the wear debris induced by shear and ...

The enzyme kinetics of branched‐chain fatty acid synthesis of metazoan fatty acid synthase
Abstract Branched‐chain fatty acids (BCFAs) exhibit enhanced oxidative stability, lower melting points, and reduced viscosity compared to straight‐chain fatty acids (StCFAs), making them valuable for biological systems and industrial applications.

This work reviews various methods to synthesize carbon nanotubes and analyzes the best methods to produce composites for supercapacitors for electric vehicles. Chemical vapor deposition is found to be the best method because the produced CNTs can be used directly without purification unless the catalyst particles need to be removed.
