Design of a Novel Diamine Biosensor to Guide the Engineering of Escherichia coli for Cadaverine Overproduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A high‐throughput screening platform was established by integrating an in vivo cadaverine biosensor with a fluorescence‐activated cell sorting (FACS) system. Biosensor‐driven specific exporter tuning, pathway optimization and genome‐wide target mining were conducted to maximize cadaverine production in Escherichia coli.

Changes in Microbiota Composition during the Anaerobic Digestion of Macroalgae in a Three-Stage Bioreactor

open access: yesMicroorganisms
The use of microalgae as a raw material for biogas production is promising. Macroalgae were mixed with cattle manure, wheat straw, and an inoculant from sewage sludge. Mixing macroalgae with co-substrates increased biogas and methane yield.

TROP2‐Targeting Chimeras (TRTACs) for Tumor Cell‐Selective Membrane Protein Degradation and Enhanced Drug Delivery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
TROP2 is identified as a novel tumor‐selective lysosomal‐targeting receptor with established clinical relevance. TROP2‐targeting chimeras (TRTACs) are developed by genetically fusing a TROP2‐binding nanobody to nanobodies against specific target proteins.
