3D‐AJP: Fabrication of Advanced Microarchitected Multimaterial Ceramic Structures via Binder‐Free and Auxiliary‐Free Aerosol Jet 3D Nanoprinting

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new paradigm in manufacturing microarchitected multimaterial 3D ceramics is demonstrated. Precise ceramic microlattices, spirals, and microwalls with ultralow shrinkage are achieved via droplet‐based printing without any auxiliary support. ZnO ceramic microwalls via this technique are demonstrated as electrodes for breast cancer biomarker detection ...

Developing Quorum Sensing‐Based Collaborative Dynamic Control System in Halomonas TD01

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A standardized and streamlined inducer‐free quorum sensing (QS)‐based collaborative dynamic control pattern is developed for sufficient gene expression control in Halomonas TD by mixing two engineered cells, cells A and B. Proof‐of‐concept studies are designed to test the dynamic control performance in mixed cultures in fed‐batch conditions.

Enhancing Nonenzymatic Glucose Detection Through Cobalt‐Substituted Hafnia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Proposed nonenzymatic glucose sensor utilizes ultrathin hafnia films engineered with cobalt and oxygen vacancies, grown via chemical solution deposition. Cobalt atoms with multivalent state act as sites of oxidation for glucose and oxygen vacancies enhance charger transfer, allowing precise glucose oxidation with minimal interference from other ...
