Osmolality of fortified human milk with contemporary human milk fortifiers

open access: yesNutrition in Clinical Practice, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Human milk fortification is critical to support preterm infant growth. Human milk fortifed to caloric densities above manufacturers’ recommendations are often necessary to achieve adequate growth. Fortified milk may be prepared 12–24 h before feeding, although practice variations exist.

Characterising Patient Pathways Prior to the Diagnosis of Interstitial Lung Disease

open access: yesRespirology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Objective Interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) lead to breathlessness, cough, deteriorating quality of life and early death. Patients are typically diagnosed late in their disease course when existing lung damage cannot be reversed.

Deep‐Learning Algorithm Diagnostic Support for Usual Interstitial Pneumonia Pattern Recognition in Fibrotic Interstitial Lung Disease

open access: yesRespirology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Objective High resolution computed tomography (HRCT) scan diagnostic classification for usual interstitial pneumonia (UIP) plays a critical role in therapeutic decision‐making and clinical trial eligibility for interstitial lung disease (ILD) patients, but is subject to variability.

Orthogonal Tri‐Modular Coiled‐Coil Assembly for Programmable Multi‐Cargo Display on Escherichia coli Nissle 1917

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A tri‐specific scaffold cell (TriSC) platform is engineered to enable programmable, reversible, and multiplex surface assembly through orthogonal and spontaneous coiled‐coil interactions. Independent targeting and therapeutic nanobodies are modularly recruited onto bacterial surfaces, allowing tunable combinatorial functionality.

Integrating simultaneous interfacial shear rheology with neutron reflectometry for structural and dynamic analysis of fluid interfacial systems

open access: yesJournal of Applied Crystallography, EarlyView.
We present a new setup at the FIGARO horizontal neutron reflectometer enabling simultaneous measurement of the structural and mechanical properties of liquid interfaces, combining neutron reflectometry with interfacial shear rheology. The study of the structure and mechanical properties of complex fluid interfaces has attracted growing interest in ...

A One‐Strength Dose Escalation Regimen for Birch Pollen SCIT Is Safe and Tolerable in Children, Adolescents, and Adults

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
This study evaluated safety and tolerability of birch pollen SCIT during dose escalation with a new One‐Strength regimen (3 injections, Strength B) compared to the Standard regimen (7 injections, Strengths A and B) in patients aged 5–65 years. Safety and tolerability were comparable between the two regimens in adults, adolescents, and adolescents, as ...

Fel d 1‐Expressing Plant‐Derived Bioparticle: A Novel Treatment for Cat Allergy

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
This study investigates the allergenicity and immunogenicity profile of a novel plant‐derived Fel d 1 bioparticle (eBP). Fel d 1 eBP promotes immune tolerance by redirecting allergic Th2 responses toward Th1 and IL‐10–producing regulatory pathways, including Bregs.

Non‐Invasive Scalp Tape‐Strip RNA Sequencing Captures Disease Activity and Treatment‐Response Signatures in Alopecia Areata

open access: yesAllergy, EarlyView.
Non‐invasive scalp tape‐strip RNA sequencing captures core immune and follicular molecular signatures in alopecia areata. Tape‐strip transcriptomic profiles reflect disease severity and treatment response to baricitinib, with concordance to scalp biopsy‐derived signatures.
