Journal of Geometry, 1991
The authors produce an infinite class of combinatorial objects which they call near biplanes. A near biplane is defined as follows: it is a square 1-design with the property that its \(V\times V\) incidence matrix satisfies (i) the inner product of any two distinct rows is 0, 2 or 4; (ii) for any fixed row the sum of the inner products with the ...

Value of Biplane Splenoportography
Radiology, 1963Splenoportography is a useful technic in the evaluation of a variety of diagnostic problems (1, 2). Our procedure differs basically in no significant way from that of Ruzicka and Rousselot's group (3). In view of the difficulty experienced in interpreting some of 100 splenoportograms in the anteroposterior views, however, biplane studies were added in ...

Biplane ventriculography in the rat
American Journal of Physiology-Heart and Circulatory Physiology, 1986Biplane ventriculography was performed on nine intact anesthetized rats. Images of the left ventricle large enough for analysis were obtained by placing the rats close to the radiographic tubes (direct enlargement). Sampling rates, adequate for heart rates of 500 beats/min, were obtained by filming at 500 frames/s.

Topological Homology Semi-Biplanes
Monatshefte fr Mathematik, 2001A semi-biplane is an incidence structure where each pair of points is incident with either \(0\) or \(2\)~blocks, and dually. In order to avoid anomalies one further requires that the incidence graph is connected and that the usual richness conditions are satisfied.
