Observations of the Sun’s photospheric magnetic field are often confined to the Sun–Earth line. Surface flux transport (SFT) models, such as the Advective Flux Transport (AFT) model, simulate the evolution of the photospheric magnetic field to produce ...

• A 2.8 mm corneal paracentesis positioned opposite to the tumour location enabled fine iris scissors insertion for precise excision of tumour‐bearing iris tissue under miotic guidance with pilocarpine 2%. • A fornix‐based conjunctival peritomy 5 mm from the limbus and stepped scleral flap approach allowed circumferential deep scleral incision with 2–3

The treatment of magnetic buoyancy in flux transport dynamo models
One important ingredient of flux transport dynamo models is the rise of the toroidal magnetic field through the convection zone due to magnetic buoyancy to produce bipolar sunspots and then the generation of the poloidal magnetic field from these bipolar

OCT imaging assessments and visual tests, which were validated by pyroptosis of retinal ganglion cells (RGC) and upregulation of NLRP3 and GSDMD expression, established an early structure‐function‐pathology diabetic optic neuropathy (DON) model in high glucose & obesity mice. Early retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL)/total retinal thickness (TRT) thinning

Analysis of BMR Tilt from AutoTAB Catalog: Hinting toward the Thin Flux Tube Model?
One of the intriguing mechanisms of the Sun is the formation of bipolar magnetic regions (BMRs) in the solar convection zone (CZ), which are observed as regions of concentrated magnetic fields of opposite polarity on the photosphere.

Personalized Models of Biological Barriers and Their Diseases: Recent Progress with Organs‐On‐Chips
Buck and Bugter et al. explore the architectural diversity and physiological functions of human barrier systems and reveal how organ‐on‐chip platforms, particularly those integrating patient‐derived cells, are advancing barrier disease modeling. They highlight how emerging biological and technological advances can be used to bridge the gap between ...

Abstract A demonstrated failure mode for operational solar flare forecasting is the inability to forecast flares that occur near, or just beyond, the solar limb. To address this shortcoming, we develop a “4π $4{\uppi }$” full‐heliosphere event forecasting framework and evaluate its statistical classification ability against this specific challenge.

Are the strengths of solar cycles determined by converging flows towards the activity belts?
It is proposed that the observed near-surface inflows towards the active regions and sunspot zones provide a nonlinear feedback mechanism that limits the amplitude of a Babcock-Leighton-type solar dynamo and determines the variation ...

MSC‐derived exosomes deliver lnc‐AGT‐3 to vascular endothelial cells, where it binds hnRNP K in the nucleus. This interaction inhibits p53 ubiquitination, enhancing p53 stabilization and transcriptional activation of anti‐angiogenic targets TSP1. Consequently, p53‐mediated signaling is potentiated, effectively suppressing choroidal neovascularization ...

This study investigates a schematic overview of the mechanistic pathways. The relationship between myopia and DR has long been of clinical interest. In diabetic mice, Nna1 expression is downregulated, whereas in diabetic mice with FDM, Nna1 expression is upregulated–particularly in Müller cells–accompanied by decreased vascular endothelial growth ...
