Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

Regulating autonomous agents facing conflicting objectives : a command and control example [PDF]
UK military commanders have a degree of devolved decision authority delegated from command and control (C2) regulators, and they are trained and expected to act rationally and accountably. Therefore from a Bayesian perspective they should be subjective

În anticamera unui nou bipolarism global
This paper looks at changes in international order nowadays, with a focus on debates about unipolarity and multipolarity. The hypothesis of the study is that the world is currently experiencing a short stage of uni-multipolarity, characterised by high ...

A monolayer graphene/phosphoric‐acid mixed proton‐electron conducting membrane combines proton‐conducting nanoconfined acid channels with electron‐conducting graphene nanosheets for efficient high‐temperature hydrogen purification. The membrane achieves nearly 100% H2/CO2 selectivity and 69 GPU hydrogen permeance at 250°C, arising from synergistic ...

Structural and Chemical Engineering of Sub‐Nanochannel Membranes Toward Ion Selectivity
This review summarizes recent advances in structural and chemical engineering of sub‐nanochannels for ion selectivity. We first introduce fundamental ion transport mechanisms within sub‐nanochannels, followed by strategies to tune pore size, geometry, and surface functionalities, categorized into charge‐based, ion‐recognition, hydrophilic bonding, and ...

Pulsar-driven Jets in Supernovae, Gamma-Ray Bursts, and the Universe
The bipolarity of Supernova 1987A can be understood through its very early light curve observed from the CTIO 0.4-m telescope and IUE FES, and following speckle observations of the `Mystery Spot' by two groups.
