Selenium‐Incorporated Polymerized Nonfullerene Acceptors/SWCNT Composites with Polymer‐Assisted n‐Doping for High‐Performance Organic Thermoelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Selenium‐incorporated polymerized nonfullerene acceptor PCB2Se forms a strong supramolecular complex with SWCNTs, enabling a record‐high zT of 0.29. Sequential N‐DMBI doping, mediated through a polymer‐assisted electron‐transfer pathway, successfully converts the PCB2Se/SWCNT composite into an efficient n‐type material with an impressive power factor ...

Sturm 3-ball global attractors 3: Examples of Thom-Smale complexes

open access: yes, 2018
Examples complete our trilogy on the geometric and combinatorial characterization of global Sturm attractors $\mathcal{A}$ which consist of a single closed 3-ball.

Unlocking Multi‐Valley Energy Pockets and Interface‐Induced Phonon Filtering in InSb Thermoelectrics by Reaction‐Driven Interface Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
InSb, a narrow‐bandgap semiconductor with high carrier mobility, is promising for thermoelectric energy conversion but suffers from high lattice thermal conductivity and strong bipolar conduction. Here, in situ interface engineering using Co2O3 nanoprecursors forms hierarchical CoSbx/In2O3/CoSb3 heterostructures that enhance phonon scattering and ...

The Specific Features of the Systemic History of the International Relations and World Politics

open access: yesПроблемы постсоветского пространства
The article considers the specific features of the systemic approach to the history of the international relations and world politics. International relations are viewed as a single complex organism, which is greater than the sum of its parts.

Bipolarity and Ambivalence in Landscape Architecture [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Our discipline of landscape architecture contains bipolarity, not only in terms of landscape and architecture but also because the idea of landscape is both aesthetic and scientific.

Memristor‐Driven Active‐Matrix Organic Light‐Emitting Diode for Energy Efficient and High‐Resolution Displays

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that memristors can replace conventional 2T–1C driving circuits with simplified 1T–1 m architectures by exploiting resistance switching. With ultra‐low switching voltages (< ±0.2 V) and multi‐level resistance states, the memristors precisely control the current injected into organic light‐emitting diodes (OLEDs).

Polymeric Frameworks as Organic Semiconductors with Controlled Electronic Properties

open access: yes, 2013
The rational assembly of monomers, in principle, enables the design of a specific periodicity of polymeric frameworks, leading to a tailored set of electronic structure properties in these solid-state materials.

Understanding the Effects of Conductive Polymer Electrode Coating on Recorded Neural Signals

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Conductive polymer coatings are widely explored to improve the quality of signals recorded with chronically implanted neural electrodes, offering enhanced biocompatibility along with reduced electrode impedance. Combining computational modelling and data from PEDOT:PTS coated and PtIr electrodes in rats, we show that improvements in signal quality with

MHOs toward HMOs: A Search for Molecular Hydrogen emission-line Objects toward High-Mass Outflows

open access: yes, 2017
We present the results of a narrow-band near-infrared imaging survey for Molecular Hydrogen emission-line Objects (MHOs) toward 26 regions containing high-mass protostellar candidates and massive molecular outflows.
