Polymorphic forms of bisoprolol fumarate

Journal of Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry, 2018
Bisoprolol fumarate is a beta blocker-type drug substance which has been well known for several decades. However, no relevant data can be found in the literature about its crystal polymorphism. The purpose of this paper was to present two anhydrous forms (Form I and Form II) and a hydrate of bisoprolol fumarate substance. Crystalline forms were studied

Respiratory Tolerance of Bisoprolol and Metoprolol in Asthmatic Patients

Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology, 1985
The respiratory tolerance of the beta 1-adrenoceptor-selective blockers bisoprolol and metoprolol was investigated in eight male asthmatic patients. The interaction with the bronchodilatory effect of the beta 2-adrenoceptor-selective agonist terbutaline was studied to compare the beta 1-adrenoceptor selectivity of 10 and 20 mg bisoprolol and 100 mg ...
