Determination of the Coupling Coefficient C(ν) from the Calculations of the Low-frequency Raman Spectrum in PMMA [PDF]
Using the atom-atom potentials method, we have calculated the low-frequency Raman spectra of molecular crystal model with elements of disorder (Poly-Methyl-Methacrylate) PMMA that has a flexible molecule. Based on the results the coupling factor C(\nu) has been calculated.

Electrostatic charging of non-polar colloids by reverse micelles [PDF]
Colloids dispersed in a non-polar solvent become charged when reverse micelles are added. We study the charge of individual sterically-stabilized poly(methyl methacrylate) spheres dispersed in micellar solutions of the surfactants sodium bis(2-ethyl 1-hexyl) sulfosuccinate [AOT], zirconyl 2-ethyl hexanoate [Zr(Oct)$_{2}$], and a copolymer of poly(12 ...

Dielectric properties of Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)/CaCu3Ti4O12 Composites [PDF]
Materials with high dielectric constant are in great demand for the miniaturization of electronic devices. More specifically, high dielectric constant polymer-ceramic composites are useful for embedded capacitor applications. A composite consisting of giant dielectric CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) incorporated into the Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) polymer ...

Objectives: Dental composites release unreacted resin monomers into the oral environment, even after polymerization. Periodontal cells are, therefore, exposed to substances that potentially elicit the immune inflammatory response.

Fabrication and Characterization of Poly(methyl methacrylate)CaCu3Ti4O12 Composites [PDF]
Composites comprising Poly(Methyl Methacrylate) (PMMA) and CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) via melt mixing followed by hot pressing were fabricated. These were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermo gravimetric (TGA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Impedance analyser for their structural, morphology and dielectric properties.

Structural, Thermal and Electrical properties of Poly(methyl methacrylate)-CaCu3Ti4O12 composite sheets fabricated via melt mixing [PDF]
Poly(Methyl Methacrylate) (PMMA) and CaCu3Ti4O12 (CCTO) composites were fabricated via melt mixing followed by hot pressing technique. These were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), thermo gravimetric (TGA), Thermo Mechanical (TMA), Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and Impedance analyser for their ...

Novel thermoset formulations from cannabidiol (CBD) oil
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a structurally versatile aromatic terpene containing a resorcinol unit with a C-5 alkyd chain meta to the phenolic hydroxyls and a terpenoid moiety (R and S limonene) para to the C-5 alkyd chain, making this material highly reactive ...
