Investigation of bisphenol a diglycidyl ether, bisphenol f diglycidyl ether and their hydroxy and chlorohydroxy derivatives stability in water-based food simulants

open access: yesCzech Journal of Food Sciences, 2004
Varnishes used as the inner coatings of food cans are often based on epoxy resins or vinylic organosols. The epoxy resins can be produced from bisphenol A (BPA) and bisphenol F (BPF) and they also contain bisphenol A diglycidyl ether (BADGE) of bisphenol

Potential for Enhanced Degradation and Removal of Various Bisphenols by Interaction between Common Reed (Phragmites australis) and Microorganisms

open access: yesJournal of Water and Environment Technology, 2021
The extensive global use of bisphenols (bisphenol A (BPA) and its analogs) is of serious concern to human health and aquatic ecosystems. Aquatic plants and rhizosphere microorganisms can largely affect the environmental fate of bisphenols. In this study,

Targeting PLD3 Reverses the Immunosuppressive Niche by Reprogramming Tumor‐Associated Macrophages and Potentiates Antitumor Immunity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PLD3 activates the lysosomal‐AKT‐NF‐κB axis to drive cellular senescence in macrophages, establishing an immunosuppressive TME by limiting the infiltration of cytotoxic T, NK, and NKT cells, which confers resistance to anti‐PD‐1 therapy. Abrine inhibits PLD3 expression, restoring antitumor immunity and synergizing with anti‐PD‐1 treatment.

Bisphenol S and F: A Systematic Review and Comparison of the Hormonal Activity of Bisphenol A Substitutes [PDF]

open access: yesEnvironmental Health Perspectives, 2015
Increasing concern over bisphenol A (BPA) as an endocrine-disrupting chemical and its possible effects on human health have prompted the removal of BPA from consumer products, often labeled "BPA-free." Some of the chemical replacements, however, are also bisphenols and may have similar physiological effects in organisms. Bisphenol S (BPS) and bisphenol

High Free‐Volume Imidazole‐Based Ionomers for High‐Temperature Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High free‐volume imidazole‐based ionomers (PF4IM‐72) enable enhanced phosphoric acid uptake and efficient proton transport, delivering peak power densities of 0.645 W cm−2 at 160 °C and 0.838 W cm−2 at 200 °C in HT‐PEMFCs. This work highlights a promising platform for next‐generation ionomers with improved high‐temperature performance and stability ...
