Curing Behavior and Adhesion Performance of a One‐Component Epoxy Resin Based on a Dual‐Locked Thermal Latent Curing Agent

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
In this study, curing behavior of epoxy resins using a dual‐locked thermal latent curing agent (DCA) was analyzed using DSC and FT‐NIR. The DCA was successfully dissolved in the bisphenol A type epoxy resin (DGEBA). Furthermore, the prepared one‐component epoxy resin was used as an adhesive and achieved excellent adhesive strength (> 25 MPa).

Comparison of Calorimetry and NMR Relaxometry Measurements of Epoxy Cure Kinetics

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
Single‐sided NMR monitors epoxy cure in three DGEBA/diamine systems, alongside benchmark DSC measurements. Fitting both datasets to a Kamal‐Malkin kinetic model shows NMR‐derived rate constants typically exceed DSC values, revealing an offset between gelation and chemical conversion.

Carbon‐Modified SnS2/g‐C3N4 S‐Scheme Heterostructure with Enhanced Interfacial Charge Transfer for Efficient Photocatalytic Reduction of Cr(VI) and 4‐Nitrophenol

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
The S‐scheme of SnS2‐C/g‐C3N4 heterostructure enables Photocatalytic Cr(VI) and 4‐NP reduction. ABSTRACT Hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) and 4‐nitrophenol (4‐NP) are persistent and highly toxic water pollutants that require efficient treatment under mild conditions. In this work, L‐cysteine‐derived carbon‐modified SnS2 (SnS2‐C) was prepared hydrothermally
