Prevalence and Risk Indicators of Peri‐Implant Diseases and Buccal Soft‐Tissue Dehiscence: A Cross‐Sectional Study From a University‐Based Cohort

open access: yesJournal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.
This cross‐sectional study of 146 patients and 511 implants assessed the prevalence and risk indicators of peri‐implant diseases and buccal soft‐tissue dehiscence (PISTD) in a university‐based cohort. JAK Inhibition Prevents Bone Loss and Reduces Inflammation in Experimental Periodontitis

open access: yesJournal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.
The pharmacological inhibition of JAK prevented alveolar bone loss and protected periodontal tissues by limiting inflammatory cell infiltration, preserving collagen structure, and maintaining low levels of pro‐inflammatory mediators. These findings highlight the therapeutic potential of targeting JAK/STAT signaling to modulate periodontal inflammation ...
