The fossil record of freshwater Gastropoda – a global review

open access: yesBiological Reviews, Volume 99, Issue 1, Page 177-199, February 2024.
ABSTRACT Gastropoda are an exceptionally successful group with a rich and diverse fossil record. They have conquered land and freshwater habitats multiple times independently and have dispersed across the entire globe. Since they are important constituents of fossil assemblages, they are often used for palaeoecological reconstruction, biostratigraphic ...

New Genus and Two New Species of Notocotylidae Lühe, 1909 (Digenea), from Russia: Morphomolecular Data

open access: yesJournal of Zoological Systematics and Evolutionary Research, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
The study of the trematodes of the family Notocotylidae Lühe, 1909, is continued using an integrated approach based on new data. A new genus, Pseudonotocotylus n. gen., has been identified, and two species new to science, Notocotylus multipapillus n. sp. and Pseudonotocotylus martynenkoi n. sp., have been discovered.

Variety dixenic life cycles of trematode from Вithyniidae snails (Mollusca: Gastropoda: Prosobranchia) Palaearctic

open access: yesРоссийский паразитологический журнал, 2016
Trematodes from 11 families have dixenic life cycles. Primary dixenic life cycles are typical for trematodes families Notocotylidae and Psilostomidae. Secondary dixenic life cycles have 3 versions.

Molecular genetic identification of Opisthorchiidae cercariae from Bithyniidae snails of Chany Lake (South-Western Siberia, Russia)

open access: yes, 2022
Abstract The studies of the opisthorchiids larval stages associated with Вithyniidae snails can provide the important and the most reliable data for opisthorchiidoses foci characterization due to the least mobility of the snails among opisthorchiids host species.

MORPHOLOGY OF THE RADULA OF SOME SIBERIAN REPRESENTATIVES OF THE BITHYNIIDAE FAMILY (MOLLUSCA: GASTROPODA)

open access: yesCONCEPTUAL AND APPLIED ASPECTS OF INVERTEBRATE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND BIOLOGICAL EDUCATION, 2020
Light microscopy was used to study the morphology of the radula of four nominal species of the Bithyniidae family living in Siberia: Boreoelona contortrix, B. sibirica, Opisthorchophorus baudonianus, O. troschelii. A significant difference in the structure of radula B. contortrix from the other three species is noted.

Исследование влияния паводков и некоторых биотических факторов на распространение моллюсков семейства Bithyniidae

open access: yesBiosfera, 2019
