Influence of the Application Method of Bitumen Emulsion on the Layer Bond
Asphalt is paved in several layers. A good layer bond between the individual asphalt layers is necessary for a long service life of the asphalt pavement.

A novel multiphase composite was developed to prevent premature failure of waterproofing layers in pig houses. The system, comprising polyurethane, asphalt, and calcium carbonate, achieves a 1.35 MPa bonding strength and resists corrosion via a synergistic crosslinking, buffering, and passivation mechanism.

Experimental methods in chemical engineering: Electrospinning
Abstract Electrospinning produces micro‐ and nanofibres by forcing a polymeric solution through a fine needle in an electric field that produces a filament that accumulates onto a collector plate. The fibre morphology depends on solution properties, distance between needle and plate, feed rate, and electric field intensity.

Assessing pavement sustainability requires jointly evaluating structural performance and environmental impacts, yet these dimensions are often analyzed separately. This study proposes an integrated framework combining mechanistic–empirical pavement design and life cycle assessment (LCA) to quantify the structural–environmental trade‐off associated with

OVER-STABILIZED BITUMEN EMULSIONS MADE FROM EMULSIFIERS FOR SLOW-SETTING EMULSIONS
Formulations of road over-stabilized cationic bitumen emulsions with orthophosphoric, sulfuric and hydrochloric acids and cationic emulsifiers for slowly disintegrating emulsions have been designed. The physical and mechanical properties of the manufactured over-stabilized bitumen emulsions and their breaking behavior were determined.
