Spectrum of BPS black holes in AdS3 × S 3 × S 3 × S 1

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We uncover novel features in the spectrum of BPS and near-BPS states in asymptotically AdS3 × S 3 × S 3 × S 1 spacetimes. This follows from a careful analysis of semiclassical and quantum black holes in this theory, which have peculiarities due to the ...

The Kramers escape rate of phase transitions for the 6-dimensional Gauss-Bonnet AdS black hole with triple phases

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
In this study, we obtain specific picture of the phase transitions for the 6-dimensional Gauss-Bonnet Anti-de Sitter (AdS) black hole with triple phases, using the generalized free energy we constructed and Kramers escape rate in stochastic motion. There

Thermodynamics of a Non-Stationary Black Hole Based on Generalized Uncertainty Principle

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Theories and Applications, 2017
In the general theory of relativity (GTR), black holes are defined as objects with very strong gravitational fields even light can not escape. Therefore, according to GTR black hole can be viewed as a non-thermodynamic object.

Polarizable Vanadium Dipoles Promote Water Dissociation on Vanadium‐Based Metal Organic Framework

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The polarization of unpaired V 3d electrons weakens the H─O bond to improve water dissociation by the dual Vδ+:O─H and Pλ−:H─O coupling hydrogen bonds formation and relaxation. P@V‐MOF electrocatalyst shows low overpotentials (94 mV in acid, 178 mV in neutral, and 77 mV in alkaline solutions) with excellent stability for effective overall water ...

Assessing the Role of Intrinsic Variability in Black Hole Parameter Inference Using Multiepoch EHT Data

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Letters
Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) observations of M87* provide a means of constraining the parameters of both the black hole and its surrounding plasma.

A New Threshold Switching Device With Tunable Negative Differential Resistance Based on ErMnO3 Polymorphs

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 44, 1 June 2026.
Polymorph engineering in ErMnO3 enables low‐voltage, forming‐free threshold switching with tunable negative differential resistance. Conducting orthorhombic regions embedded in an insulating hexagonal matrix provide controlled Joule‐heating‐enhanced Poole–Frenkel transport. The hexagonal phase prevents excessive heating and breakdown.

Images from disk and spherical accretions of Bardeen black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
In this paper, we investigate the shadow and optical appearance of the Bardeen black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter (PFDM) illuminated by various static accretions.

Supersymmetric black hole non-uniqueness in five dimensions

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
We present a systematic study of the moduli space of asymptotically flat, supersymmetric and biaxisymmetric black hole solutions to five-dimensional minimal supergravity.
