Regularity of the minmax value and equilibria in multiplayer Blackwell games
Abstract A real-valued function φ that is defined over all Borel sets of a topological space is regular if for every Borel set W, φ(W) is the supremum of φ(C), over all closed sets C that are contained in W, and the infimum of φ(O), over all open sets O that contain W. We study Blackwell games with finitely many players.

Blackwell approachability is a framework for reasoning about repeated games with vector-valued payoffs. We introduce predictive Blackwell approachability, where an estimate of the next payoff vector is given, and the decision maker tries to achieve better performance based on the accuracy of that estimator.

The Past and Future of Meaning
For many centuries, a predominant view of meaning was that the meaning of a word is some kind of chunk of mind-stuff ("idea") glued to the word and animating it. However, while the traditional view was that we must first understand meaning, which enables

Wittgenstein's Thought Experiments and Relativity Theory [PDF]
In this paper, I discuss the similarity between Wittgenstein’s use of thought experiments and Relativity Theory. I begin with introducing Wittgenstein’s idea of “thought experiments” and a tentative classification of different kinds of thought ...

On values of repeated games with signals [PDF]
We study the existence of different notions of value in two-person zero-sum repeated games where the state evolves and players receive signals. We provide some examples showing that the limsup value (and the uniform value) may not exist in general.

ABSTRACT This article presents a decade of research on Open Data Business Models (ODBM), aiming to identify conceptual gaps, categorize thematic trends, and propose an integrative framework. This paper, based on a systematic literature review (SLR) of 60 peer‐reviewed studies, develops a coherent framework that explains how ODBMs are formed, adapted ...

Olympic rings of steel: Constructing security for 2012 and beyond [PDF]
Academic and political commentators have commonly sought to understand the Olympics as a cultural dynamic, a "spectacle" that motivates certain actors to project their relative interests in localized spaces and as well on a global scale (Hiller

Individual wild pig bait site visitation and time to initial detection is primarily influenced by space use (i.e., proximity to bait) and whether wild pigs from other social groups visited before. Specifically, females are less likely to visit a bait site if an adult male visits a site before them.

Smale Strategies for Network Prisoner's Dilemma Games [PDF]
Smale's approach \cite{Smale80} to the classical two-players repeated Prisoner's Dilemma game is revisited here for $N$-players and Network games in the framework of Blackwell's approachability, stochastic approximations and differential ...

Collaboration post‐acquisition: The role of acquirers' motives
Abstract Research Summary What role do collaborations with a target's partners play in an acquisition, and how do these collaborations evolve post‐acquisition? Research suggests that these collaborations are an important reason to acquire but often diminish post‐acquisition. But if they tend to diminish, why are they a reason to acquire?
