Blind equalization of MIMO channels

This paper introduces a blind MIMO equalization algorithm for convolutive mixtures. A parametrization of the equalizer is proposed when observations are whitened. From theoretical results, a numerical algorithm is then derived. This algorithm is based on the solution of a polynomial system, which some values of output cumulant multi-correlations enter.

Unbiased blind adaptive channel identification and equalization

A low-cost algorithm for adaptive estimation of unbiased linear predictors in additive noise with arbitrary autocorrelation is presented in the paper. It is shown that the minimization of the prediction error variance, subject to a specific quadratic constraint, permits the derivation of an asymptotically noise-free prediction coefficient.
