A semi-blind approach to structured channel equalization

This paper describes a direct equalization approach for channels with some underlying structure. A semi-blind approach is taken here where a small amount of training symbols is available. A family of MMSE equalizers is obtained that includes some prior information about the channel structure.

An adaptive algorithm for blind MMSE equalization of SIMO channels

In this work, an adaptive method for estimating blind MMSE equalizer with arbitrary delay of SIMO channel is proposed. By using an RLS-similar algorithm to recursively update correlation matrix and its pseudo inverse, the proposed algorithm ensures convergence and is not sensitive to initialization.
