The Information-Bit Error Rate for Block Codes
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1984The relations between the word error probability and the decoding algorithms for block codes are reviewed. A simple approximation that does not depend upon the code weight structure or the decoding details is derived for the information-bit error rate in terms of the channel-symbol error probability.

Residual Error Rate of Binary Linear Block Codes
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1975We consider two decoders: an incomplete decoder,Di, as defined in [1], which corrects up to t errors, and a complete one, D, derived from Di (see section 4). In section 2 the decoding probability corresponding to Di, Pd, is expanded in series up to the two first orders.

Block-Shanno Minimum Bit Error Rate Beamforming
IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2008Beamforming is a key technology in smart antenna systems that can increase capacity and coverage and mitigate multipath propagation in mobile radio communication systems. The most popular criterion for linear beamforming is the minimum mean square error (MMSE).

On the Optimal Error Rate of Stochastic Block Model with Symmetric Side Information
2021 IEEE Information Theory Workshop (ITW), 2021Side information improves the accuracy in community detection problems. While experimental results demonstrate the superior performance of many detection methods based on both the node attributes and graph structure, the question of the fundamental limit of the error rate for exact recovery remains open.
