New block error rate model for Rayleigh fading channels

No.04TH8754), 2005A novel method to estimate block error rates (BLER) in the Rayleigh frequency-nonselective fading channel is proposed. The suggested model is based on a finite state Markov chain. Evaluation of the Extremely Low Block Error Rate of Irregular LDPC Codes
2009 IEEE International Conference on Communications, 2009In this paper, we attempt to evaluate irregular LDPC code performance at the high SNR region using the importance sampling (IS) approach in conjunction with primary-trapping-set identification.
