Application of blockage corrections to U-beams with porous railings

Different models of u-beams with porous flanges were tested in wind tunnel with the use of force and moment measurements. Due to high wind tunnel blockage ratio, the wind tunnel blockage corrections were applied to the measured forces and moments.

The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.
