Circular RNA circNrip1 Interacts with SYNCRIP to Promote Neuropathic Pain by Stabilizing Tlr2 mRNA in Primary Sensory Neurons

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Model of circNrip1 (cNrip1) upregulation driving neuropathic pain mechanisms. After peripheral nerve injury, increased FUS triggers the formation and upregulation of cNrip1 in injured DRG neurons. Upregulated cNrip1 recruits SYNCRIP to the 3′‐UTR of Tlr2 mRNA by binding to both, thereby promoting SYNCRIP‐triggered Tlr2 mRNA stability and increasing ...

The development of an intervention for diabetes prevention among people with impaired glucose regulation: feasibility and acceptability of an intervention component

open access: yesPilot and Feasibility Studies, 2019
Background As part of the design process of a low-cost minimal-contact diabetes prevention intervention, we issued a blood glucose meter to people with impaired glucose regulation (who are at high risk of type 2 diabetes).

Importance of blood glucose self-monitoring in treatment of diabetes mellitus in the modern world

open access: yesКлинический разбор в общей медицине, 2021
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disorder associated with microvasular and macrovascular complications, the prevention of which is an important challenge of modern medicine. Contemporary methods for diabetes management rely on the active involvement of the

Printable Conductive Hydrogels for Electrochemical Biosensing and Soft Bioelectronic Interfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Flexible, conductive hydrogels that integrate printability, mechanical tunability, biocompatibility, and electronic performance remain challenging to achieve. Here, we develop 3D‐printable poly(ethylene glycol)–poly(pyrrole)‐ hydrogels with tissue‐like mechanics, high cytocompatibility, and robust electrochemical function.

Myeloid p38 activation maintains macrophage–liver crosstalk and BAT thermogenesis through IL‐12–FGF21 axis

open access: yesHepatology, EarlyView., 2022
Physiological activation of myeloid p38 controls macrophage IL‐12 production and crosstalk to the liver by modulating hepatic FGF21, and subsequently, brown adipose tissue thermogenesis during obesity Abstract Obesity features excessive fat accumulation in several body tissues and induces a state of chronic low‐grade inflammation that contributes to ...

Stress History Establishes a Transient Tolerant State That Shapes Antibiotic Survival Upon Resuscitation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High‐throughput single‐cell analysis of resuscitating bacteria reveals a starvation‐history‐dependent transiently tolerant subpopulation that survives β$\beta$‐lactam exposure by temporarily reducing growth. Distinct from classical persisters, these actively growing yet dynamically modulated cells dominate survival across clinically relevant antibiotic

CORRELATION BETWEEN BLOOD GLUCOSE LEVEL AND THINKING CONCENTRATION

open access: yesFolia Medica Indonesiana, 2017
Cognition function specifically about thinking concentration has not much yet been studied. Society view shown that glucose has role thinking quality. Few studies shown that glucose has role in specific memory quality but not in complex thinking.

Nanomedicine Meets Immunotherapy: Advancing Adoptive Cell Therapy with Nanoparticles in the Treatment of Cancer with Sustainability Perspectives

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review surveys nanoparticle‐based strategies to enhance adoptive cell therapy, particularly CAR‐T cell approaches, in solid tumor treatment. It describes how nanoparticles can improve tumor immunogenicity and T‐cell infiltration while reducing toxicity, and how they enable in vivo CAR‐T cell generation.

Evaluation of glucose tolerance test and surrogate indexes of insulin sensitivity to detect insulin resistance syndrome in transition dairy cows [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Healthy multiparous Holstein-Fresian cows (n=101, parity ≥ 2) from 3 large-scale dairy herds in Italy were subjected to an intravenous glucose tolerance test (GTT) 14-1 d before (Week -1) and 3-9 d after calving (Week +1).
