A non‐fluorescent immunohistochemistry method for measuring autophagy flux using MAP1LC3/LC3 and SQSTM1 as core markers

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We introduce an immunohistochemistry method to measure autophagy flux, highlighting the active degradation and recycling of cellular waste. This cost‐effective approach uses tissue samples to track key markers like LC3 and SQSTM1, revealing how cells maintain health or respond to diseases such as cancer. It bridges the gap between research and clinical

Control-Oriented Models Inform Synthetic Biology Strategies in CAR T Cell Immunotherapy [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy is revolutionizing the treatment of blood cancers. Mathematical models that can predict the effectiveness of immunotherapies such as CAR T are of increasing interest due to their ability to reduce the number of experiments performed and to guide the theoretical development of new therapeutic strategies ...

Co‐expression of HSV‐1 ICP34.5 enhances the expression of gene delivered by self‐amplifying RNA and mitigates its immunogenicity

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ICP34.5 is one of the most important antihost response proteins. The saRNA‐encoding HSV‐1 neurovirulence protein ICP34.5 clearly mediated the eukaryotic initiation factor 2 alpha subunit (eIF2α) dephosphorylation and significant suppression of innate immune responses in vitro, leading to enhanced expression of the saRNA‐encoded gene.

Effect of new healthy and live food supplement on Anemia disease in Wistar rats [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Anemia is a decrease in hemoglobin and red blood cells and due to a decrease in hemoglobin, oxygen carrying capacity reduce. In this disease, the red blood cell the amount and volume decrease. In this research, healthy and live food powder were synthesized by a green route. This organic biomaterial was named NBS.

Long non‐coding RNAs as therapeutic targets in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and clinical application

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs) occupy an abundant fraction of the eukaryotic transcriptome and an emerging area in cancer research. Regulation by lncRNAs is based on their subcellular localization in HNSCC. This cartoon shows the various functions of lncRNAs in HNSCC discussed in this review.
